Siberian Forest Cat

The Siberian Forest Cat is an amazing cat that needs little encouragement to attach itself to all members of the household.
Filled with a great sense of fun, these cats are superb "flyers" and can leap great distances with ease. But with flight comes the "touchdown" so you had better make sure that your best china is not in their flight path!
Commonly regarded as the national cat of Russia, the Siberian Forest Cat has been around for more than 1000 years, but did not appear in Australian until 1990.
The Siberian is considered a semi longhair and wears a thick coat that encompasses just about every possible colour.
Perhaps one of their most endearing qualities is their devotion to the family. Siberians love to greet their owners at the door upon their return home and are more than happy to follow people around the home so they can be where the 'action' is.
