With a beautiful soft coat (that features curls to die for!) the Cornish Rex certainly attracts plenty of attention.
This gorgeous breed first appeared in Europe around 1950 and, thanks to its uniquely wavy fur, has since become a favourite at cat shows right around the world.
The spectacular looking coat is incredibly soft to touch, is relatively easy to maintain (with occasional brushing) and comes in an enormous range of colours including white, black, blue, red, cream, smoke and silver.
This highly intelligent breed is renowned for being quite strong willed but, in most cases, is extremely affectionate and sociable.
Slender yet muscular, the Cornish Rex is very active and likes to run and jump, making it a perfect companion for an owner who wants an energetic cat.
