With their exotic appearance and a wonderfully affectionate nature, Burmese cats make a great pet.
Their family history dates back almost 400 years but the gorgeous Burmese we know and love today was created in the USA in 1920 by crossing a Siamese with a cat imported from Burma.
Burmese are elegant and unique cats that enjoy being in large groups and love nothing more than a good snuggle.
They are a beautiful breed to look at and are relatively easy to maintain. Give them a brush and comb once a week and provide plenty of space for play and movement and you will find the Burmese to be a truly adorable addition to the home.
